TFB is independently female owned and founded. We are a completely indie brand. No large parent company/conglomerate here!

Yes, and we are PETA and Leaping Bunny Certified!

Is the palm oil sustainably sourced?

Yes, we only use sustainable palm oil (if the formula contains palm oil).

Is the mica used ethical?

Yes, our mica supplier has passed the BSCI audit and the facilities are regularly vetted to ensure no child labour.

Is the titanium oxide you use non-nano?

Yes, we only use non-nano titanium dioxide in our formulas.

How are you working toward becoming a more sustainable brand?

We've been working on some exciting initiatives and partnerships which are helping to offset our carbon emission and plastic consumption. EcoCart and TerraCycle are only 2 of the organizations we are partnering with. We also now offer a mail-back program to safely dispose of your empties and we've changed to varnish printing so all of our outer packaging is now fully recyclable!

How can I make my shipment carbon neutral?

When EcoCart is added to your order, it will be shipped 100% carbon neutral. It's that easy!

Our partners at EcoCart use a scientifically validated formula to calculate how much it costs to make a carbon contribution. This price usually comes out to 1-2% of your total cart value, and it depends on the item and the distance it ships.

Where do your products ship from?

Our products ship worldwide from California.

The shade I ordered is not what I expected...

While we do our best to accurately depict the colours on our site, everyone's screen is calibrated differently. Please send an email to and we would be happy to do our best to help.

How long does it take to ship?

All orders are processed within 24 hours Monday - Friday. Orders shipping within the USA should take approximately 2-7 business days. Orders shipping to Canada can take approximately 5-10 business days. Orders shipping internationally can take approximately 10-15 business days. We'd love to be able to account for customs, weather and carrier delays but no one's perfect.

Something is wrong with my order…

If there are any issues with your order - missing items, damaged items, wrong items etc. - customers have up to 60 days to contact us in order to resolve your order issue.

After 60 days customers are invited to re-place their order.
